This is part 3, please watch parts 1 & 2 to see how I built this. The testing continues. I have seen alot of you mounting your solar heaters on a flat wall, so I did the same thing. If you angle your box towards the sun you can increase your temp dramatically. The concern I have now is if I tilt the box I could damage my intake and exhaust tubes.

Here I've moved the panel out to the sidewalk, in full view of the sun at nearly it's apex (solar noon today was about 1:20pm, took this about 20 minutes shy of that). Note that the voltage reads around 20v. I've had it flirting with 21 before, so I'm betting around summer solstice that might even be somewhat higher.

The cell generates well over 20 volts in direct sunlight, but for my purposes here I tested using a 30 w fluorescent, 12 inch bulb with the panel about 4 inches from it. Still generates about 7 volts this way. In even dim sunlight (nearly sunset and with clouds), the panel generates almost 6 volts.
